Chanel Couture Spring 2010-Silver and Pastel

Silver and Pastel may not seem a very "Chanel" combo, but trust me, it worked marvelously. On the runway, on the couches that sat the famous audience who were looking at the masterpieces with innocent childlike wonder, everywhere. This is the first show where there was no black, navy, or any gold buttons in the vicinity. Everything, from the overdone hair with the dainty bow to the shimmery stockings show classic with a twist. This is one of Chanels finest moments in the past decade. The outfit I most want is the one to the right. It indeed is classic with the lace and bow, but with a twist because the lace looks like an explosion,(in a good way) the hair has metallic highlights, and the stockings and boots are shimmery and metallic. After the 2009 white and black collection, I didn't think Karl LagerfeldWe will definitly be seeing this look this coming spring and summer, from people like the Queen to Lauren Conrad. Coco would definitly be proud. The prestigious front row audience included:
American Vogue Editor Anna Wintour
European Vogue Editor Hamish Bowles
Super model Elisa Sednaoui(she was wearing great Chanel boots)
French actress/singer-songwriter Charlotte Gainsbourg
L'uomo Vogue editor and former house and runway model Giovanna Battaglia
Music Artist Kanye West with (on again off again) girlfriend socialite and girlfriend Amber Rose
German model and actress claudia schiffer
Actress and model Olga Kurylenko
Fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson
Actress and model Clémence Poésy
French Actress Anna Mouglalis
Television Personality Alexa Chung

  1. Thanks for the blog comment!

I loved Chanel's show. (I reviewed it, too!) If only I could've been there, in between Anna and Tavi... ;)
